The aim of the present work is the determination of the quality and accuracy of the data provided by the LED structured light scanner Comet L3D (Steinbichler).
In order to use this geometric data and obtain a numerical model, point clouds must be processed using specific applications.
This accuracy value corresponds to the maximum accuracy in data acquisition.
Subsequently, data fusion can be performed by grouping all points in a single file.
The complete process is considered, covering both data acquisition and subsequent processing.

This research project aims to analyze the economic feasibility of Additive Manufacturing (AM) as supportive technology in Injection Molding (IM) tool manufacturing by estimating the potential cost-savings and lead-time reduction.
In addition to technological analyses, case studies comparing the economic feasibility of the different tool manufacturing routes were also conducted. [18] shows a possible tooling cost reduction of 80 % - 90 % when using polymer-based AM to produce injection molds for two different reference parts within the product development phase.
Wherever possible, tool life is taken from experimental data.
Overall, cost reductions of up to 66 % could be achieved with the considered use cases in this study.

The result indicates that the quality and function requirement of WAP obviously cover the following perspectives: firstly attaching great importance to improvement in acoustic absorption and price reduction, specifically paying attention to material selection of core materials, panel thickness, punching rate and aperture; secondly taking environmental protection and decorative function into consideration which means to concern surface material selection, decorative function and glue joint technique, and finally thinking about the sizes of panels and convenience in installation.

For the best possible reduction of vibration in suspension systems, various Magnetorheological damper models are studied which Bouc-wen model, Neuro-fuzzy model and Bingham model.
In this model, the plastic viscosity is defined as the slope of the measured shear stress versus shear strain rate data.
The model predicts the force-displacement behavior of the damper well, and it possesses force-velocity behavior that more closely resembles the experimental data.
