Introduction The discovery and innovation of materials provides the material basis for the diversity of architectural design.
The artists rely on various materials to create their works.
Therefore, architects’ comprehension and creative utilization of materials sometimes transcends the knowledge of manufacturers of these materials.
Instead, they are discoverers and users of materials.
As people had to search for construction materials in the natural environment, nowadays architects learn to discover materials and excavate their possibilities in various fields.

This kind of aluminum alloy is an ideal structural material for the aerospace and automobile industries.
Introduction Al-Zn-Mg-Cu (7xxx series) alloys, as ultra high strength aluminum alloys, have been widely used as structural materials in aerospace and automobile industries due to their excellent mechanical properties.
Spray forming is a new rapid solidification process, and it has been developed to produce high density, near-net-shaped preforms of RS materials directly from the liquid metal [11].

In this paper, the effect of ultrasonic wave on sizing materials is analyzed to optimize sizing properties.
By comparing with the traditional method of mixing and cooking, the relationships between sizing materials’(s) gelatinization temperature and time ,viscosity and viscosity stability are discussed.
The stirring of the magnetic rotor and ultrasonic help the dispersion of sizing materials in water, and gradually spread into good dispersion.
Conclusions Ultrasonic has a great impact on the viscosity of sizing solution in the mixing and cooking of sizing materials.
