Due to NWMO contains a large number of polydentate ligands, so it can be used as chelating agents, and with a variety of metal ion the reaction of chelates with the ring structure and a more stable.
For example Fe2+, the molecular structure of NWMO present in a large number of polydentate ligands, when Fe2+ in contact with NWMO, the NWMO is very easy to provide a large number of lone pair of electrons, and fast reaction to generate a macromolecular chelate of ring structure.
Probably because NWMO contains a large number of ligands is able to quickly react, but the production of chelates is not very stable.
Visible coexistence of ions on metal removal has played a catalytic role, may be caused due to surface adsorption, and concealed, to generate mixed grain and other reasons.

Conventional concept of the metal fatigue shows us that a fatigue limit is found at the number of stress cycles around 107 cycles.
However, fatigue tests in the long life regime require a long period and it is difficult to obtain the sufficient number of fatigue data by using conventional testing machine, although, ultrasonic fatigue testing machine as an effective and reliable way has been widely used in investigating fatigue behavior of materials in very high cycle regime [5-6], however, much of the available ultrasonic fatigue properties today are axial loading, some fatigue criterions can be used in predicting the torsion fatigue behavior using the axial fatigue strength[7,8], however, the torsion fatigue test is the best way to obtain the torsion fatigue properties.
