Application Status of Exterior Wall External Insulation Materials
During recent years, exterior wall insulation materials have various types, and new insulation materials are developed and promoted consistently.
They usually work as the non-load-bearing structural materials and insulation maintenance materials.
The application of nano-technology in the area of insulation materials is nano-porous silica insulation materials, and this leads to the new main research direction.

Decreasing the combustor temperature will also impact on the need for costly combustor materials and thermal barrier coatings on the combustor liner, enabling a more resource efficient manufacturing.
Decreasing the temperature leads to significant benefit in terms of diminished NOx production, reducing the environmental impact of European air transportation, as well as a need for less temperature resisting materials for the combustor, contributing to a more resource efficient engine.
However, high temperature regions on the walls near the turbine combustion regions may occur, which raises the issue of high temperature resistant materials required for these regions, and / or of developing light and efficient cooling systems able to maintain the wall temperature below the material resistance limits throughout the turbine.
