Titanium alloy materials are widely used in the field of aero-engine, the complex surface forming of key parts usually use the ball end mill.
Titanium alloy materials are widely used in this area [2], it has specific intensity, high thermal strength, high fracture resistance, good high-temperature corrosion resistance and other excellent features, however, titanium alloys is difficult-to-cut materials, its low thermal conductivity, a large friction coefficient, and high chemical activity, the elastic modulus is small, so that the tool life is low and machinability is poor.

Experimental Materials Poly(lactic acid) (PLA, Mw=100,000, purchased from Shanghai Yisheng industry Ltd.) was used as the matrix.
Scanning electron microscopy (SEM, JSM5900) was used to observe the fracture morphology of the obtained materials previously coated with a gold–palladium alloy.
