Because of aformentioned excellent characteristics, SBA-15 is currently one of the most fascinating support material for the functionalization with the imidazolium-based ILs, compared to other various ordered mesoporous materials.
The pore size distribution, pore volume and specific surface area of the materials were determined from a N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms analysis at 77 K using a Micromeritics ASAP 2010.
