The application of 3D NMM in underground excavation is also presented and show good agreement with real engineering.
The authors [4] have shown that the use of the more advanced Wilson non-conforming element to NMM can be useful in obtaining more accurate results for simple covers.
In the present paper, 3D NMM based on hexahedron meshes is developed which will be useful for practical engineering.
