For refractories that comprise a variety of particles, the size of selected representative volume unit should not be less than the maximum grain.
Where N is inclusions numbers of composites; c0 is volumetric fraction of matrix; cr is volumetric fraction of inclusion; Keff is the effective volumetric modulus of composites; K0 is volumetric modulus of matrix; Kr is volumetric modulus of inclusion; Geff is the effective shear modulus of composites; G0 is shear modulus of matrix; Gr is shear modulus of inclusion; Kp and Gp are computed by Eq. 3 and Eq. 4.

Introduction
Due to the dispersed distribution of titanium component in various mineral phases, very fine grains (<10μm) and complex interfacial combination[1], titanium bearing blast furnace slag can hardly resort to traditional separating technique, resulting in a great waste of titanium resources and environment pollution[2,3].
As seen in Fig.3(b), the product held back on the filter appears black, with a large number of porosity, while the product gone through the filter presents gray, with a glassy state.

The disappearance of primary formed in normal solidification was substitute by a large number of peritectic phases during the solidification of Sn-10 wt.
At higher temperature, peritectic transformation of Sn-30wt. % Cu alloy may be controlled by solid diffusion and also grain boundary diffusion.

It was found that the M23C6 type of carbide precipitates observed on the prior austenite grain boundaries became coarse, while the particle size of MX precipitates showed no distinct changes.
CLAM steel exhibited an initial hardening during the first number of cycles, and gradually softened with continued cyclic deformation and a rapid drop in stress carrying capability, and it was seen that as the strain amplitude increased, the stress amplitude increased.

Under normal circumstances,a large number of waste drilling mud will be left at the drilling site, and then leached into the ground by rain after long-term accumulation.
Finally they had preliminary proved that the waste drilling mud can be used as compound fertilizer according to examine the indicators, such as compressive strength, moisture content, available nutrients, pH value, particle size and grain rate.

Because the temperature under 60°C was too low and the viscosity of the system was too high to react completely, so waterborne epoxy emulsion prepared was instability, grain size, easy to layer; when the reaction temperature was up to 100°C, the reaction was too fast, and the emulsion instability also.
Combined with the graph (a) and (b), characteristic absorption peak at 915 cm-1 of epoxy resin modified was decreased a lot, this was because DEA and epoxy resin E44 had a ring opening reaction, resulting in system of epoxy number decreased significantly.

Introduction
For a number of years many investigations are focused on the mechanical behaviour of metallic glasses.
This way of the break is observed in flint and other fine-grained minerals, as well as most amorphous matter [2].

However, previous ways of synthesis porous carbon nitride spheres often involve solvothermal method using template, and the walls of the confinement or the removial of the templete often lead to unpredicated forms and shapes of the composites, the incorporation of precursors into the confinement, including an adequate pore filling and adequate mixing and stoichiometry of the starting components inside the pores is hard to control and obeys the statistics of small numbers.
The figures show clearly that after treated under higher temperature, much smoother and continuous surfaces can be observed at the grain surfaces.
