The bi-layer structure ZEP520A/poly methyl glutar imide (PMGI) was proposed and tested.

In the analysis of the output-only response of a structure, techniques which employ one (or more) sensors distributed across the structure have been proposed to enhance the accuracy and reliability of the damage assessment process.
The system is robust to short-term perturbations of the structure that do not constitute a systemic change.
Testing has been carried out on a prototype structure comprising a platform mounted on four flexible metallic pillars as shown in Fig. 1.
