Growth and dissolution of zeolite 4A phases reach to the equilibrium when the crystallization reaction continue for a certain time, and then extending the crystallization time, the number of the phases will not increase, instead, the form of the phases particles will appear passivated edges, or even mixed phases.
This is mainly that induction period exists in the hydrothermal synthesis of zeolite 4A crystallization process using fly ash as raw material, in which grains begin to form spontaneously, and grows with crystallization time lengthens and the rate of crystallization increases rapidly, so the crystallinity of synthetic zeolite increases.
