Appearing in the 1960s, neuroscience mainly studied the structure and function of nervous system.
However, it is an interdisciplinary science that connects tightly with other fields such as chemistry, computer science, linguistics, mathematics, medicine and allied disciplines, philosophy, physics, and psychology.

The structure and chemical composition of bamboo provide sufficient material conditions for the breeding and growth of the fungus, but the breeding of fungus also requires certain conditions like temperature, moisture, PH, etc.
Chemical method is commonly seen in the anti-mold methods of bamboo timber, Song Ye, etc. [9] propose that nanometer titanium dioxide not only has superior ability in absorbing UV, but also can activate oxygen into reactive oxygen by using luminous energy, which can effectively destruct the structure of the molds absorbed on the surface, so it has enormous potential in improving the stability of material color and the property of anti-mold.
At the same time, they characterize the form and structure of TiO2 by using NMR, FESEM, XRD and EDAX, and focus on studying the influence of temperature on the morphology, the crystal form and the anti-bacterium and anti-mold properties of TiO2 film.
The results show that the TiO2 modified bamboo timber that are treated by the three kinds of temperature (20, 60, 105 ° C) maintain the natural color, texture and structure of bamboo timber and the original non anti-bacteria property is changed into over 99% sterilizing rate to E. coli and the anti-mold property is increased by more than 10 times.
The anti-mold of bamboo timber is a complex project, it involves bamboo science, botany, microbiology, chemistry and so on, in order to research and develop new treatment method and drug of anti-mold, the relation of bamboo mold, bamboo timber and external environment, the parasitic conditions of different fungi inside the bamboo timber and the inhibition mechanism of mildew preventive to mold growth need to be emphasized.

Another strain-energy may arise from the accommodation strain between a-Si and crystalline Si (c-Si) due to different structures and densities.
For a-Si film/SiO2 glass-substrate structure, the thermal strain-energy is the highest near the interface between the film and the substrate, or in the deepest place of the a-Si film, which is under the highest compressive stress because the thermal expansion coefficient of Si is higher than that of the SiO2 layer.
The films subjected to a rapid thermal process at 650 to 850 °C showed structures similar to Fig. 5 (b, c).
The crystal structures, lattice parameters, intrinsic stacking-fault energy, and elastic anisotropies of Ge and Si are similar, and so the characteristics of the Ge-Si alloys are likely to be similar to those of Ge and Si.

The overall supercapacitor performance is partly determined by its capacitance value and it is well known that the capacitance of a supercapacitor electrode critically depends on the pore structure and surface chemistry of the electrode.
Although the basis for such a modification appears lacking theoretical input or consideration, the modified equation is expected to be useful for further development of quantitative procedure and theoretical framework to explain the relationship between the specific surface area and structure of carbon electrode, which then may contribute to a better understanding of the supercapacitor performance dependency on the pore and surface characteristic of the electrode materials.

In comparison to the Ag-Cu-Ni, Ag-Cu-Ni-La (Fig.1b) reveals an improved structure of discontinuous strip-like or globular-like second-phase.
Further investigation reveals that the film has a layer structure and a mixture of Ag2S and CuS.
Regarding the influence of the RE (La, Ce) on the corrosion rate of Ag-Cu-Ni alloys, alloys with depurative structure generally show a superior corrosion resistance than the impure ones.
The trace RE could purify the structure of Ag alloys owing to the comparatively low heat of formation and high binding energy between RE element and O or S.

Bagasse fiber has relatively excellent morphology and structure, and it is a very useful non-wood fibrous raw material for paper-making[1].
However, 30%~40% of the spongy structured bagasse pith in the sugarcane bagasse has adverse effect on the pulp quality[2], therefore, efficient removal of pith is a prerequisite in papermaking enterprise [3,4].
Because of its special surface structure, particle morphology, along with unique physical and chemical properties, it is a important reinforcing filler[9,10].
The agglomerates formed between the connecting aggregates are structured as branched chain, with van der Waals force as the main force.

Strengthen the destructive power of the fly ash vitreous structure incorporation grinding excitation materials A,B,C, which is due to the adsorption of grinding materials, the surface free energy of fly ash decreases, resulting in an overall decrease in strength of the particles, the final improve grinding efficiency.
After grinding materials the fly ash particle distribution is more uniform, coarse vitreous were broken to become powder and small vitreous uniform phase distribution[1], it makes ground fly ash surface area increases, fineness lower, fly ash structure is more dense.
The incorporation of grinding materials, mechanical grinding, the purpose is to change the surface structure, particle composition, surface of fly ash particles are packaged effectively by excitation materials. so that the surface energy between the particles and the surface tension reduction, increased spherical particles, play the "ball" effect, increased mobility, improve workability system, thereby reduce water demand ratio[1-2].
Size of the fly ash particles is small than cement particles, can better fill on space of cement particles, improve mortar pore structure, improve the density, so as to improve the compressive strength.

This can be ascribed to their crystal structures: a and b phases have hcp and bcc structures, respectively, and atom density of the bcc structure is lower than that of the hcp structure.
