The reason for such different behaviour of the SCMs lays probably in their different inner structure.
The above mentioned findings can be summarized as: · Both materials have good pozzolanic activity and fineness, which help to create better inner structure of concrete leading to improvement of its mechanical properties and durability

Furthermore, no crystalline peaks were observed for Li2CO3 and Na2CO3, which indicate that the carbonate layer covering the SDC particles exists in the amorphous state without influencing the structure of SDC [19].
The addition of 50 wt.% to 70 wt.% of NiO to prepare NiO–SDCC composite anode powders did not alter the structures, thereby indicating good chemical compatibility after HEBM.

Therefore, polyaniline has received widespread attention due to its simple reversible acid base chemistry via doping/dedoping.
The patterns of the diffraction composed of broad peaks which are crystalline and the outstanding peak of about 2θ= 18.55° can be assigned to the regularity parallel to the chain of the polymer, whiles the peak at 2θ= 25.8° is assigned to the regularity perpendicular to the direction of chain of the polymer which indicate the predominantly amorphous structure of the polyaniline chain.
This structure of the PANI much more visible in the spectrum representing the characteristics of emeraldine salt (ES) [26].

Structure and exterior systems, for instance, may last for more than 50 years and infill systems, such as interior installation, electrical or mechanical systems, may only sustain 3-20 years.
There could be several renovations of infill systems while the structure system still is in fine condition [13].
Although LEED, GGHC, and BREEAM differ in terminologies, structure, performance assessment, relative importance of environmental performance categories and documentation requirements for certification [20], any of their standards could provide a good reference to establish criteria to evaluate the renovation sustainability of hospital buildings.

Correct stability of the austenite is necessary for optimising the mechanical properties and this requires a suitable heat treatment in combination with the steel chemistry.
Structures were examined in a Leo 1530 model FEG-SEM instrument with EBSD ancillary equipment supplied by HKL Technology and a digital Nordlys II EBSD camera.
Although the actual temperature reached at this position is not known, the selected cross-section follows the temperature gradient and the structure development could be studied from zero austenite volume fraction up to the maximum at the peak temperature (870°C).
Transformation from austenite to ferrite will continue and, if the temperature and alloying conditions are appropriate, there may also be bainite in the structure, formed in the holding zone.

The structure of pseudoboehmite is similar to the structure of boehmite and consists of double layers of oxygen octahedral partially filled with Al cations [14].
For the membranes obtained with doses of 35kGy it was observed that: - In the Type 1 (PVP) membranes the increasing in the radiation dose promoted a greater formation of the crosslinking, resulting in reduced dehydration; - Type 2 (PVP/AlgNa) membranes showed peaks visible from dehydroxylation of PEG and alginate, with a peak around 121°C, and its Tg is reduced, probably, due to the presence of sodium in the structure, which consists in an element with high electronegativity, reducing the cross-linking

In the process of preparation of hollow fiber membrane, there are many factors affecting membrane structure, mainly including: 1) the choice of the casting solvent, the concentration and temperature of casting solution; 2) the height of air gap; 3) the membrane preparation environmental conditions, such as temperature, humidity, air convection state; 4) the speed of casting solution extruded from the spinneret; 5) the nonsolvent selection, composition and temperature of inside and outside coagulation bath; 6) the existence of solvent additives or macromolecular additives in casting solution.
For this test of PVDF hollow fiber ultrafiltration membrane preparation, process parameters and factors which influence membrane structure and performance are as followed: spinning solution technical parameters (including the content of PVDF, additive type and concentration, acrylic acid monomers quantity used for grafting polymerization and amount of initiator, reaction temperature and time), process conditions (include casting speed, core fluid flow velocity and the height of air gap, casting solution temperature and coagulation bath temperature) and the environmental conditions (including environmental temperature and humidity).
Based on the results of single factor analysis of the factors affecting the structure and properties of PVDF hollow fiber membrane, together with our previous research achievements, four main factors of the test were selected and determined: PVDF concentration, acrylic acid content, reaction temperature and time.

A possible structure of synthesized nCDHA was proposed.
The XRD pattern of nCDHA samples shows only the characteristic peaks of the HA structure according to the ICDD-PDF card no 01-074-9773.
According to the proposed structure, the crystal structure of nHA is significantly modified due to trapping of sodium ions in vacancies of calcium sites.
Schematic illustration for possible structure of nCDHA. 3.2.
