Fig.1 The grating mechanical ruling scheme and the roof tool of natural diamond
The top grating film is aluminum formed by the physical deposited method, while there is a layer of Cr film between the aluminum film and the glass substrate to bound up the two materials and prevent the diamond tool breaking when fallen deep up to the hard glass layer.
And steeper the rake face is, higher the bump becomes(see the F contour line in Fig.3(b)) with quicker material flowing(see Fig. 3(a)aluminum velocity field).

Experimental procedure
The mixtures of rare-earth tailings with pure chemical components were used as the raw materials.
After being mixed fully, the raw materials were melted in alumina crucibles at 1450℃ for 2h.

The materials of structural and heating layer are Silicon Dioxide (SiO2) and Aluminum (AL).
The necessary material parameters of AL and SiO2 are listed in the Table 2.
With temperature increasing, some material properties are also changing and the varying coefficients are also seen in Table 2.

The rotary-cut veneers employed in this study were made from birch (Betula platyphylla Suk.).
Accordingly, non-deficient, proper, knotless, and normally grown (without zone line, reaction wood, decay, insect and fungal damages) wood materials were selected.
