The Study on Crystallization Kinetics of Glass-Ceramics Containing Rare-Earth Tailings by DSC

Article Preview

Abstract:

The crystallization kinetics of glass-ceramics containing rare-earth tailings have been determined using non-isothermal DSC. The kinetic parameters for as-quenched and nucleated samples are reported and discussed. The results showed that glass-ceramics with optimal bending strength about 200MPa can be obtained under the condition of nucleating at 730°C for 2h.
