Oxygen affects the microstructure and the mechanical properties of titanium alloys.
Ti-6Al-7Nb is a promising alloy to use in PM due to its outstanding biocompatibility and mechanical properties required for load bearing medical implants.
The presence of oxygen causes high costs in the PM industry, affecting the mechanical behaviour of titanium alloys as it can significantly decrease its ductility [3,4].
There are some investigations about the microstructural factors influencing the fatigue properties.
Summary In the present work, the influence of oxygen on the mechanical properties of Ti-6Al-7Nb processed by MIM was investigated and evaluated

A number of factors considered important in controlling the properties of steel products and affecting the residual manganese in the basic Oxygen furnace (BOF) have been investigated by changing some industrial parameters, aiming at optimizing the residual manganese in BOF.
The studied factors were manganese oxide in the slag, iron oxide in the slag, tapping temperature, Slag basicity, Lance height, blowing time, and carbon content.
In order to study the behavior of manganese oxidation, the factors affecting the residual manganese were studied at the end of the blow.
The parameters affecting on the residual manganese during steel making process in basic oxygen furnace BOF was investigated, 2.

To improve the mechanical properties of composite materials, we could modify both the matric and the fiber sides.
Three factors that directly affect the value of mechanical properties are the degree of cure temperature, cure time, and type of resin [1].
The vinyl ester resin has various mechanical properties, it is depending on the post-curing temperature.
Post-curing above 100 °C causes an increase in adhesion due to the complete cross-linking of Vinyl Ester resin in the joint and the increase in its mechanical properties [4].

The B field configurations affect to a greater extent on mechanical properties and don’t have weighty impact on deposition rates.
The special position is an abrasion-resistant coating for protect the friction surfaces of tools and equipment [5-7], what is attainable by unique mechanical properties: a low friction factor, a high chemical stability and wear resistance.
It suggests to deposit carbon based films with various structure configurations and mechanical properties.
Thus, the quantity of sp3 and sp2-phases is a main characteristic in mechanical properties of carbon based films.

The adhesion between the carbon fibre reinforced copper matrix composite material and the coating is of particular importance for the mechanical and functional properties of the resulting system, and also for its handling and for the lifetime of the final product.
Both, processes and materials affect interface properties and - in some cases - the microstructure of the base material near the interface.
During the process flow, the materials are exposed to the action of various external factors, mechanical, thermal, or electrochemical [4].
Frequently, one factor is dominating among other factors affecting theageing of the materials and the degradation and eventually the failure of the part of product.

Since the spot welding process was completed in a very short time and there were many factors affecting the generation of welding defects, it was difficult to control all experimental factors of welding.
Table 1 is chemical compositions and mechanical properties were also used in this experiment.
Table 1 The chemical compositions and mechanical properties of base metal [Fe bal. %] C Si Mn P S Ni Al 0.043 0.019 0.424 0.079 0.007 0.026 0.047 Tensile strength[MPa] Elongation[%] Young's modulus[GPa] Poisson's ratio 296.8 56 194 0.3 Table 2 The welding conditions Welding current[kA] Electrode force [N] Squeeze time [cycle] Welding time [cycle] Holding time [cycle] 8 2450 30 15 10 When stress was in the elastic range, and if the load frequency was high enough under thermal insulation conditions, relations such as equation(1) forms between the change in the amount and course of temperature change and principal stress change occurred for each
Fatigue quality index(FQI) was expressed by the ratio of maximum stress for standard stress as a severity factor to estimate stress concentrations existing under the circumstances of spot weldment, which received a dynamic load.

This management issue will introduce some uncontrollable factors and difficult to tracing.
A proposed quality factor defined as the ratio of the tensile strength of weld to the tensile strength of the base metal was applied for the Taguchi analysis in order to obtain the optimized combination of the control factors for laser welding.
That means the mechanical properties of the weld is already higher than that of base metal.
Since the SNR is dramatically affected by the property variation of the base metals, a strictly income material control was advised to improve the uniformity of weldment.
(3) To deal with the larger property variation of base metal, the proposed quality factor R is better than the tensile strength of the weldment in Taguchi analysis.

This article has carried on the description about atomized characteristic of oil-water slurry, and it’s atomizing performance and analysis to the nozzle of type ZCK154S432 and type ZCK154S423 is studied experimentally from different spurting pressure, the different spray nozzle type as well as the different density of refined oil-water slurry, obtained the main factors of affect oil-water slurry’s atomization, illustrated the importance of developing coal instead of oil.
Introduction As an alternative fuel, coal water slurry not only preserve the original physical and chemical properties of coal, but also possess liquids liquidity and stability like oil.
Opening pressure, nozzle type and consistency of oil coal water slurry are the major factors affecting atomization.
Opening pressure affect engine performance by affecting the quality of the spray.

For grasping the influencing factors of temperature, the experimental analysis basing on the infrared imaging method were carried out.
Then, it is suggested that the degree of difficulty is affected by property of granite material to a great extent.
So, the quick diffusion of heat from the grinding zone affects the whole temperature rise directly.
Results Using the infrared measurement, the temperature filed of quarter-circle surface on the granite and its influencing factors during grinding process are studied from different views.
