Introduction After the introduction of Cu as conductive material in microelectronic device construction, in the next years it will be necessary to find out materials with a dielectric constant k decreasing from the present values (2.7-2.9) to values around 1.9 in 2010 [International Technology Roadmap for Semiconductors (2002), and Ref. 1].
This is a very difficult task to be achieved and several materials, from organic-inorganic polymers to silica based materials, are under investigation.
A way to reduce density is to introduce pores in the dielectric materials.

Presently coal gangues were used as roadbed materials, subsided backfilling materials and filling wall materials, while the above utilization is limit.
