However, for Ag thin film we observed the formation of multiple cracks appearing mainly in the very thinned walls near the microcone base, when the structure reaches some critical dimensions.
In order to probe the presence of such LSPR-mediated electromagnetic fields near the conical microstructure as well as to demonstrate the applicability of such structures for biosensing we have measured the PL signal from the 5-nm thick layer of the Eu3+(TTA) complex (for measurement details see Methods section) deposited on the square-shaped array of the silver microcones (Fig. 5(a)).

Their interesting properties resulted from the combination of two different metals whose fine structures are important for catalysis research [1,3].
The results revealed a high percentage of cubes, suggesting the existence of a (100) preferential surface structure [10,11].

The people in the field of mechanical engineering want to make housing structures smaller and lighter so they can fit in with the PCB, which usually takes up more than 50% of the weight.
However, the housing structure should provide sufficient strength and stiffness to prevent the failure of electronics during test and service periods.

Today the structure concrete strength grades of a large number of new buildings are mainly C25~C45, most with pumping concrete, most only with the strength during concrete preparation or acceptance and without the durability.

In addition, the addition of Ho can change the electronic structure of the alloys, increase the bond energy between atoms and enhance the structural stability because Ho atom exhibits more stable external electronic arrangement (4f116s2) than Mg atom (3s2).
Internal affecting factors mainly include the texture structure, grain size, second phase and impurity defects.

SEM analyses were employed to determine effect of temperature and methane content in the gas
mixture on particle size and crystal structure of the produced cemented carbides (Figs. 8 and 9).
It is found that methane content in reacting gas mixture does not significantly affect the crystal structure and particle size.

Porous structure of the composite anode and a large number of heavy element particles were observed.
It was determined that porous structure consisted of SDC and LSCr, and small particles contained Pd and Ni by EDX analysis.

Study of such alloys could provide more insight into the complex precipitation behavior of Al-Mg-Si alloys, but except few investigations focused on the precipitate structure [2], little attention has been paid to these alloys in the past.

Films were analyzed for their oxidation state by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and for their crystal structure by X-ray diffraction (XRD).
The XRD pattern shows that the films were polycrystalline and had mixed anatase and rutile structure.
