It can be fabricated by bonding of the bulk PZT ceramics with excellent piezoelectric properties to the Si wafer.
Piezoelectric ceramics lead zirconate titanate Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 (PZT) are of the most frequently-used for their excellent piezoelectric properties.
Consequently, another approach using bulk PZT was studied to fabricate energy harvester, because the bulk PZT ceramics are well sintered at a high temperature up to 12000C and exhibit excellent piezoelectricity.
The novel technique of bonding of bulk PZT ceramics to Si wafer using Au thin film as the intermediate layer was explored.

The results show that the mechanism of the ceramic and stainless steel was expounded well.
The microstructure organization near the interface was evaluated by SEM and EPMA, AFM and XRD, and then the bonding mechanism of ceramic and stainless steel are explained.
