Abstract.
Biological tests Human osteoblasts were used to investigate the biocompatibility of examined materials.
The cells were suspended in Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM; Gibco), supplemented with 10% foetal bovine serum (FBS), L-glutamine, antibiotic-antimycotic mixture (Gibco), ß ascorbic acid and dexamethason and seeded at 75·10 3 cells/ml onto sterilized materials.

However, it is considered low compressive, flexural and tensile strength compared to other types Due to the trend towards using sustainable materials to preserve the environment by getting rid of waste and decreasing the amount of carbon dioxide produced while manufacturing some concrete components by substituting with environmentally friendly materials.
