Therefore, nonleaded free-cutting brass should urgently be developed as a key issue by material workers.
Take H65Si1.5 silicon brass as the experimental material, whose melt is treated by Bi, electric pulse and Bi-EPM respectively, observe the solidification structure; meanwhile, test the mechanical properties and cutability to study the effects on the structure and properties of silicon brass.
