                The instrument
is dedicated to investigate residual strains and stresses in engineering samples or new materials.
Introduction All major neutron and synchrotron radiation sources responded to the increasing demand for materials science end engineering experiments by building dedicated instruments able to cope with the specific demands of "engineering" samples such as size and/or weight.
Kowari offers a broad range of options and possibilites to allow the materials science / engineering community to study residual-stresses and apply advanced techniques and ancillaries to understand materials processing.
Forum Vol. 571-572, p. 213-217 (2008) [2] O.
Forum Vol. 638-642, p. 2823-2828 (2010)
