On the other hand, excessive metal oxide cations of the D shells( such as Fe2+, Ni2+ and Mn2+ .etc.) easily loses or gains electrons, which has a strong ability in oxidation and reduction .It's empty D and F orbital function with lone pair electrons and produces inductive effect.
