In this paper, a simple analytical model (considering all key modes of failures) to predict the variation in strength due to the presence of the slab is proposed and validated with the experimental data.
FH=Fstrutcosθ=(υ×0.85fc'×Wstrut×tc)cosθ (6) FV=Fstrutsinθ=(υ×0.85fc'×Wstrut×tc)sinθ (7) where ‘υ’ is reduction factor [14, 16], and ‘Wstrut’ is width of the compressive strut.

However, the Refractory Ceramic Fibres Coalition (RCFC), and industry body, has sponsored comprehensive toxicology and epidemiology studies to identify potential RCF-related health effects, conducted a thorough review of the RCF-related scientific literature, and further evaluated the data in a state-of-the-art quantitative risk assessment.
The lack of toxicological data on most nanomaterials (as opposed to the macroscale/bulk form) is partly to blame, but initial assessments of titania nanopowders and CNTs suggests that OELs for bulk materials are not adequate for nanomaterials [21].
It must also be remembered that this data is for a non-stoichiometric mix of oxides, and that an accurate stoichiometry for the desired hexagonal composition in the starting materials improves the yield of that phase, often enabling a single phase product to result.

The smooth surface morphology and amorphous structure are closely related to the reduction of PEO crystallinity which is also caused by the hot history to the polymer electrolyte [66].
The reduction of crystallinity of PEO also corresponds to the low Tm of hot-pressed NCPE [58].
This stable amorphous morphology is consistent with the size reduction of PEO crystallites in PEO-OLDHs nanocomposite.
This stable amorphous morphology is consistent with the size reduction of PEO crystallites in PEO-OLDHs nanocomposite.
Although the number of work published till date is reasonably less, the presented data provide the basis for further studies on LDHs as filler for the development of nanocomposite polymer electrolytes (NCPE) as well as for the development of new technologies.

Data of detailed kinetic studies and electrochemical analysis strongly suggest that (i) methane decompose to hydrogen and carbon over the Pd-Ni catalyst, (ii) hydrogen is electrochemically oxidized with O 2- to water, and (iii) carbon is quickly reformed with water to hydrogen and carbon oxides.
If hydrocarbon fuel directly oxidized to CO2 and H2O over the anode of SOFC, high energy conversion efficiency and reduction of operation cost are expected.

Rao et al. [43] carried out the characterization of GFRP laminates under various conditions, and a significant reduction in tensile property was observed.
The peak of first derivative point exhibited the greatest rate of changes on the mass loss, which was about 89%/oC, but the reduction of temperature for the composite was probably due to weak interface bonding associated with some porosities, as evidenced in previous study [30].
The weight gain data as a function wetting times (hrs.) for unidirectional 0o-oriented samples, cross-ply 0/90o-oriented samples and angle-ply 30o-oriented epoxy composites were gathered.

The differential swell index demonstrated a significant reduction in swelling behaviour, indicating improved performance under moisture variations.
This trend suggests that while low to moderate percentages of CCR positively impact strength, higher concentrations may lead to diminishing returns or even a reduction in strength.

The distance relay reach might experience one major issue which leads to reduction of series inductance of line resulting in shifting down of relay characteristics on R-X plane [3].
In time series modelling, a neural network approach including Group Method of Data Handling (GMDH) beats earlier reported traditional neural networks (such as Multilayer Perceptron: MLP and Log-Structure Merge Tree: LSM Tree).
In [23], an adaptive quadrilateral characteristics of distance relaying are realized by extraction of positive sequence voltage and current data.
Positive sequence super imposed voltage and current data achieved by subtracting two cycle memorized value from fault data is utilized in [26] and the sign of angle difference between the two values decides occurrence of a fault or a swing in consideration with directional relaying principle.
In this study, three-phase current and voltage data from the relay position are generated for the suggested technique at a sampling rate of 10 kHz.

The data for sliding and cracking are from different samples, and while this data provides strong evidence for a correlation between sliding and cracking, it does not establish cause-and-effect
These data show the fraction of high angle boundaries in Ni-16Cr-9Fe-0.00011C that have cracked after an SSRT test in 360°C primary water at a strain rate of 3 x 10 -7 s-1, as a function of the angle between the tensile stress and the trace of the grain boundary on the sample surface.
However, because these data were taken from different experiments, they do not establish a cause-and-effect relationship between grain boundary deformation and cracking.
This data establishes the dependence of IG cracking on grain boundary sliding.
Stacking fault energy has been linked to SCC resistance in stainless steels by Thompson and Bernstein [19] who found that increasing SFE correlates well with increased reduction in area and decreased SCC susceptibility.
