Introduction Because of good physical, mechanical and manufacturing properties as well as low production cost, cast iron is wildly used as structural materials of internal combustion engines, especially cylinder heads.
The thermal strain amplitudes of the materials were about same under the same maximum temperature.

Preface The anniversary tenth edition of the International Conference on Materials Science and Engineering - BraMat (Brasov Materials) was successfully occurred from March 8 to March 11, 2017 at the "Sergiu T.
BraMat International Conference 2017 was organized by "Transilvania" University of Brasov - Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering in cooperation with Academy of Technical Sciences from Romania, the Foundry Technical Association of Romania, the Association for Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering and the Romanian Welding Society.
The conference's contributions have been presented, oral or poster, in the frame of eight sections of the conference, as follows: (1) Metallic materials, (2) Biomaterials, (3) Ceramics, polymers and composite materials, (4) Surface engineering, (5) Nanomaterials, (6) Welding engineering, (7) Safety engineering and (8) Magnesium science and engineering.
At the same time seven important companies, which manufacture equipment for processing and characterizing materials, organized special showrooms during the whole event, in order to present the latest equipment on the market.
Out of all papers presented at conference, the authors have chosen to publish 38 of their contributions in Materials Science Forum journal edited by Trans Tech Publications.

Introduction Investigation of a nonlinear dynamics of non-equilibrium systems in modern materials has considerable influence on dissemination of knowledge about the behaviour of materials [1].
Continuing deformation of materials will be happening mainly in these areas.
On the basis of experimental researches the authors observed a fact of apparent absence of strengthening materials at DNP.
In this paper, was used an improved method of deformation diagrams recording of materials during realization of DNP.
