At the same time, the vertical loads and the stiffness of superstructure and piles have a significant influence on the control effect of structures.
0 Introduction
As an effective passive control, the isolation has been applied widely on buildings and bridges(Buckle et al 1990;Zou et al 2005).
However, there are still some shortages for this isolation, one of them is that the ability of self-restoration of popularly used isolation bearings is still far from satisfaction(Vasant et al 2004,Stergios et al 2010).
In addition, the rubber bearings will produce a large vertical deformation applied by the vertical loads of superstructures, which may lead to uneven subside for superstructures(Vasant et al 2003,Spyrakos et al 2009 ).
Based on this thought, the Union House, which is the first flexible pile isolation structure in the world, was constructed in New Zealand in 1983(Boardman et al 1983), and it works normally up to now When the bending spring of EDIPF is failure during a massive earthquake, the pile may also have a large horizontal deformation, which can bring about a collision between the pile and the pile sleeve, and sometimes, the active control is applied on EDIPF to form a hybrid control system to avoid this collision. There are many researches(Cai et al 2002;Wong et al 2008;Sun et al 2008;Huang et al 2009) for hybrid control of traditional isolations, but no work for control of EDIPF was reported up to now.
Excitation is from the El-Centro(NS,1940) earthquake ground motion record, with a peak acceleration of 200 gal, and a sampling interval of 0.02s.

Carbon nanotube reinforced aluminium (CNT-Al) composites are mainly produced using powder metallurgy method.
The FESEM morphology of CNT-Al nano-composite is also presented.
The FESEM micrographs are presented in Fig.3, which showed the powder size with milling time for 1.5, 2 and 2.5 wt% CNT-Al powder mixtures.
The 1.5 wt% CNT in CNT-Al nano-composite contribute to the formation of better CNT-Al nano-composite powder morphology and shape.

According to Izuagie et al. [1], carbohydrate chemists have developed countless products that expanded the starch usage and its utility since early of 1930s.
According to Shi et al. [20], hydrolyzed starch with high amylose content have much lower swelling power and solubility in water.
Testing method was based on Pathania et al. (2012) with slight modification.

Abstract.
In this work, geometrical deviations, particularly straightness deviations, in the dry turning of UNS A92024 (Al-Cu) alloy are studied as a function of feed and cutting speed through a parametric model.
In particular, in this work, straightness deviation (SD) produced in the dry turning of UNS A92024 Al-Cu alloy has been studied for different cutting speeds (v) and feeds (f) values.
Nominal Composition of UNS A92024 alloy (% mass) Cu Mg Mn Si Fe Zn Ti Cr Al 4.00 1.50 0.60 0.50 0.50 0.25 0.15 0.10 Rest The cylindrical bars of alloy UNS A92024 were horizontally dry turned in an EmcoTurn-242 CNC Lathe equipped with an Emcotronic TM02 Numerical Control, Figure 1.

The hexagonal one, judging by the chemical composition, is a multicomponent phase with the structure of M-type hexaferrite (Ba/Sr/Ca) (Fe/Mn/Al)12O19, which is characterized (judging by the concentrations of the components) by rather high values of configurational mixing entropy.
The authors of [13] obtained thin films of the (Al/Cr/Ti)FeCoNiOx system.
As elements used for Fe (III) substitution at the hexaferrite structure, judging by the experimental data published in the literature earlier, first of all, Al and Mn should be considered at first, therefore these elements were chosen to synthesize an experimental sample.

Introduction
The creep response of commercial Mg-Al alloys is known to be quite poor, resulting in a maximum
temperature limit not exceeding 100°C.
The Al content in the eutectic zones was very high, up to 9% (wt.%), with Ce and La in some areas as high as 5.5 and 2.5% respectively.
The Al, Ce and La content inside primary grain was negligible [21].
Dependence of the α parameter and of the stacking fault energy γ on Al concentration in solid solution.
