The Reliability Analysis of Wheel Groove Milling Machine's Column Based on Probability Finite Element Method Fanjie Luo1, a, Danlu Song1,b 1 Southwest University of Science and Technology, Mianyang, Sichuan, 621010, China a351490643@qq.com, bdanlus@vip.sina.com Keywords: Reliability analysis, Probability finite element method, ANSYS, Column Abstract.
Using the Monte Carlo method, with the height of the upright column, the load and the elastic modulus of materials as input random variables, the reliability analysis of the upright column was finished.
So, the reducing of the dispersion of material's parameters properly and the cutting on the column's height are the two ways to improve the reliability of the Wheel groove milling machine's column.
