Song [7] used low-rank pulverized coal and DCLR as raw materials to prepare formed coke, which exhibits the maximum compressive strength when 40% DCLR was added; the yield of formed coke decreased with increasing DCLR amount, nonetheless the yield of tar and gas increased gradually.
Materials Long flame coal (SJC) was chosen from Sunjiacha, Shenmu, Shaanxi.
Materials were ground and sieved into particle sizes of 75 μm (<90%) and then dried for later use.
An obvious weight loss peak appeared in DTG curves near 103.14 ℃, which are caused by the release of adsorbed gas and bound water in raw materials.

Research in nanoscale materials has made it possible to realise many novel material properties [3,4], including superhydrophobicity However, production of cost effective and long lasting SHS still remains a challenge.
Typical features of Superhydrophobic materials [6] include - when submerged in water, they are covered with a layer of air; - after re-emerging from the water, the surface appears to be dry; - water drops on the surface roll off at slight tilting angles because of the weak adhesion; and - sessile water drops have high contact angles.

Material Models at Elevated Temperatures The numerical model takes into account the temperature-dependent thermal and mechanical properties of the materials. 3.1.
Discussion on the failure mode In this study the elastic critical loads are so large that the buckling will not be the failure mode for the studied columns, and this even if after the elevation of temperature, the mechanical properties of materials decrease.
The critical load is still large compared to the failure load whose value is more sensitive to the materials properties that are deteriorated under the effect of temperature.
