The various morphologies of Cu2O some have been successfully synthesized, such as nanowires, multipods, nanocubes, octahedra, and cuboctahedra It has been demonstrated that the performance of catalysts can be enhanced by shape control as shape determines the number of atoms located at the edges, corners, or surfaces [6].
Fig. 1 shows XRD patterns of four kinds of Cu2O polyhedra as well as the standard card of cuprous oxide cubic phase (JCPDS No. 05-0667) [8].
The distance between two “Cu” atoms in (110) planes is about half of that in (111) planes, implying the number and a density of “Cu” dangling bonds in the (110) planes are higher than that of the (111) planes.

Although not clearly understood, this owing to the addition of an element wit increase of the number of structural defect the distance between atoms that facilitate the diffusion of hydrogen.
Although not clearly understood, this increase of the hydrogen permeability owing to the addition of an element with high atomic size might result from two possible effects: an increase of the number of structural defects, and a slight increase of the lattice parameter that facilitate the diffusion of hydrogen.

Aluminium matrix composites, a growing number of applications require the matrix properties of super alloys, magnesium or iron.
XRD analysis The X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern of aluminium alloy and aluminium alloy matrix composites were shown in figures 9, 10 numbers.
With the help of PowderX software the XRD graphs are compared with various JCPDS cards.

Introduction
The occurrence of marine oil spill, particularly during oil extraction, transport and refinery process, leads to the direct discharge of a large number of dangerous pollutants contained in oil-effluent into ocean, and consequently triggers tremendous ecological and economic problems [1, 2].
The obtained spectra has the ZnO main peaks which are in agreement with the 36-1451 standard card from JCPDS.
A possible reason for this phenomenon is that a large number of electron-hole pairs generate for much more ZnO particles exist under UV illumination.

Because the amount and distribution of oxygen vacancy at interface region has a decisive influence on the electrical properties and stability of the SOFC, a number of studies have been focusing on the oxygen vacancy ordering and electrical transport property of La0.5Sr0.5CoO3-δ [7-10], There have few studies on the amount and distribution of oxygen vacancy at an interface region for RE0.5Sr0.5CoO3-δ (RE=La, Pr, Nd) thin films.
The XRD patterns were identified by using the Joint Committee on Powder Diffraction Standards (JCPDS) card.
This plays an important role in enhancing the oxygen ionic transference number and ionic conductivity and in improving the performance of SOFC electrode.

Except the diffraction peaks (marked with asterisks) for carbon nanofiber, all diffraction peaks in this pattern are in good agreement with the standard Joint committee on Powder Diffraction Standards (JCPDS) card no. 78-1970.

Due to combination of the high density and high effective atomic number, these materials were endowed with the excellent performances of radiation absorption ability, the good light yield, the fast decay time in nanosecond scale and the high energy resolution.
Fig. 1(a) Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) image and (b) the particle size distribution of synthetic Ce:LSO powders (a) (b) The XRD pattern of annealed Ce:LSO ceramic was shown in Fig.3 The diffraction peaks of sample were consistent with those of standard monoclinic Lu2SiO5 (JCPDS card 41-0239), no other coexisted impurity phases like Lu2O3 or LPS were found in the obtained sample, proving that the starting nanosized Ce:LSO powders remained stable without thermal decomposition during SPS densification processing.

As shown in Fig. 1, all the diffraction peaks could be well indexed to pure cubic spinel phase of CdIn2S4 (ICSD-JCPDS card No.27-0060).
When the impure ion concentration was low-level, the number of the trapping sites was increased; however, when the impure ion concentration was excessive, the abundant trapping sites as recombination centers could make charge carriers inactive due to be trapped several times.

Introduction
Supercapacitors have superior advantages such as stable for a vast number of charge/discharge cycles, safe, wide operation temperature range, high power density and consistent [1].
The pattern confirmed the formation of single phase tetragonal crystal structured [15, 22] nanostructures of zinc antimonate and the Bragg’s reflections obtained were indexed to standard JCPDS card no. 38-0453.
