The objectives of this research were to characterize the water quality of some of these abandoned mining lakes water in Perak; and to make comparison with the water qualities of the rivers used for water treatment in Perak water supply.
2 Materials and methods
2.1 Sample locations
A total of 12 water samples were collected for analyses from selected sampling locations.
