The main influence factor of the attrition rate of the TBM cutter is rock abrastivity.
(2)Many factors affect the wear value of rocks, mainly related to the nature of the rock itself .there are the mineral composition of rocks, mineral hardness, particle shape and size of mineral particles link between power, rock joint fracture of the degree of development, degree of weathering, the rock itself, in which the integrity and stress environment.
Nature of the rocks themselves is also the factors that affect the physical and mechanical indexes of rock directly, and are the most important factor.
The higher the value of physical and mechanical properties of rock, the greater of the rock abrasion value .Instead, the content of the lower hardness of the rock minerals (such as biotitic, muscovite, calcite, chlorite, etc.) was higher, the lower of the rock physical and mechanical properties value, and the value of the rock abrasion is smaller
(3)Genetic types of rocks, rock environment, structural types as well as the testing conditions (including the loading frequency, the choice of surface scratches, scratches rate, and needle measurement error) are factors affecting the rock abrasion value, need to be further studied.

The mechanical responses of granular materials are affected significantly by the properties of the individual particle.
The mechanical properties of granular materials are affected significantly by the particle shape, surface characteristc of the individual particle and consolidation stress of the assembly.
Therefore, it’s vital to establish the link of macromechanical properties to fabrics, which has attracted more and more attention recently[1][6].
The friction angle can be computed by the relationship between friction factor and friction angle (Scott 1963)

It can improve the overall carrying capacity of the pavement without affecting its water permeability and retention.
Meanwhile, it should have good mechanical properties.
Therefore, through experiments and numerical analysis of water permeability and retention and mechanical properties of the ATPB drainage base course, this research explores the influencing factors and changing patterns of the water permeability and retention and mechanical properties of the asphalt treated permeable gravels, finding out the key factors that balance their contradictions and the solutions to the decreasing bearing capacity of the structure caused by the over-large void ratio, which is vital to the design of ATPB.
Influence of the Void Ratio on Mechanical Properties of ATPB Drainage Base Course.
When used as a permeable base course, ATPB’s mechanical properties will be affected by the rain stored in the base course.

In this study, the mechanical properties and corrosion properties of plasma nitrocarburized 304 stainless steel at various processing times was investigated.
The microstructure, mechanical and corrosion properties of the treated austenitic stainless steel were correlated to the plasma processing time.
Another significant factor that affects the surface hardness is the formation of the expanded austenite phase with different lattice expansion.

Abstract: The corrosion behavior of rebar HRB400 in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution was investigated, and the tensile mechanical properties after corrosion were tested.
The research on the corrosion of rebar and its effect on the mechanical properties of rebar is increasing [8-10].
The samples (Φ14mm ×450mm) are used for corrosion rate measure and mechanical properties tests.
And then the corrosion rate calculation and mechanical properties tests are carried out.
These will affect the strength properties of rebar.
