Jun Yan et. al. [2] mentioned that, welding often leads to low mechanical properties owing to the metallurgical changes such as micro-segregation, precipitation of secondary phases, solidification cracking, grain growth in the heat-affected zone (HAZ) and loss of materials by vaporization.
However, the height of bead weld performed in shielding gas of 100% Argon (Fig. 2b) higher and the similar images were reported by Sathiya et al. [7].
