Abstract As one type of the important alternative fuel containers, composite cylinders are widely
used in compressed natural gas vehicles (CNGV) all over the world.
Introduction Nowadays, as one of the important alternative fuel, natural gas has been widely used in automotive engineering.
Description of the Composite Cylinder for Vehicles According to the International Standard ISO 11439-2000, a type of CNG-4 resin impregnated continuous filament with a non-metallic liner (all composite) cylinder is investigated.

Introduction
Al- alloys are chosen engineering material for automobile and aerospace industries for a wide range of applications due to their lower weight, excellent thermal conductivity properties and good cast ability and few typical examples include piston rings, engine blocks.
Suresh S et al. [6] studied on the performance of metal matrix composite reinforced with ceramic particles has been reported to be superior to that of their unreinforced matrix alloy.
