Abstract.
Surface morphology and chemical composition of the treated fabrics were observed and analyzed. 2 Materials and Methods 2.1 Materials Woolen cloths provided by Shanghai Yingchun Wool Mill were scoured with 4 g/L soap solution at pH 9 (adjusted with sodium bicarbonate) at a liquor ratio of 10:1 at 45°C, followed by cleaning in distilled water and air dried.

The basic principle of fiber reinforced expansive soil is similar to reinforced soil , In other words, bite force which come from the fiber and the soil particles bite force effectively restrain the deformation of soil to make the physical and mechanical properties of expansive soil improved[2] .Reinforced materials which can control the deformation of soil laterally are mostly ribs at horizontal filled in the reinforced soil, fiber in the soil are randomly distributed in the soil[3] ,which can effectively limit the lateral deformation and effectively restrict the vertical deformation of soil [4-6].
Test Materials and Solutions The main properties of expansive soil come from Nanyang road which are shown in Table 1.
