To have a comparison values, samples from base material were subjected to identical elongation tests.
Results are centralized in table 1 and they permit the following observations: • welded joints strength is superior to base material mechanical strength; • between base material and deposited material is a good compatibility, are avoided stress concentrator because the condition RmDM≤(1.30÷1.35)RmBM is fulfilled (DM - deposited material, BM - base material); • post welding normalization heat treatment determines an increase of fracture strength with 10.8% for welded joint and with 10,98% for base material.
The notch was oriented along thickness of the deposited material.
The Paton Welding Journal, No. 1 (2002), p. 10 [3] V.

Although the project focus will be DP for composite
materials, most of this technology can generalize to many other applications.
Such a computing platform provides the opportunity to model damage evolution in composite materials with a level of fidelity never before possible.

Also, the effect of materials properties on buckling behavior was analyzed and studied.
Although composite materials are attractive replacement for metallic materials for many structural applications, the design and analysis of this kind of materials is more complex than those of metallic structures.
