We have investigated methods of increasing the purity of CNCs in synthesized materials containing CNCs and CNFs, and have achieved a CNC purity of 80% [9].
The impurities contained CNFs and carbonaceous materials.
The PtRu and Pt catalysts were loaded onto the carbon materials by the reduction method using sodium boron hydrate (NaBH4) [10].
Summary Fibrous carbon nanomaterials, CNC and VGCF-X, were used as catalyst support materials for DMFC catalysts.

Furthermore, the addition of small amounts of Al and Si constituents to the nanocomposite structure of these materials considerably improved their tribological and anti-corrosive properties at operating temperatures exceeding 400 °C, such as hardness and wear resistance, thermal stability, and denitrification temperatures [4].
For bulk materials, e.g., as the steel substrate Meyer’s index is a good measure of the indentation size effect (ISE) [9].
Conversely, n>2 represents so-called reverse ISE behavior, whereas at n=2 the ISE is absent for the given material at the applied indentation depths.

Introduction
Hadfield steel is widely used as an engineering material since it has been invented in 1882.
Certainly, the precipitation of cementite on the austenite grain boundaries enhances the austenite hardness to its ultimatum at the expense of the toughness of the material.
This phenomenon considers as a catastrophic phenomenon of this material.
Table 4 declares that the nodularity of the eutectic phase is the key role parameter on the strain hardening rate.

Abstract: Superficial coatings are widely used in industrial applications in order to improve the superficial properties of metallic components.
Furthermore nowadays the fiber reinforced materials are finding more and more widespread use in aeronautic field due to their features of lightness, high strength, and flexibility of manufacturing systems.
The coupling of aluminum alloys with the above described materials leads to galvanic corrosion problems, due to the difference of the electrochemical potential between aluminum and CFRP, resulting in a fast degradation of the aluminum components.
The hardness of the coating could be compared with the one of the base material; · The coating carried out on the AA 2024 sheet is free from defects and shows good mechanical properties in all its extension; · The deformation behaviour of the coating depends on the thickness of the coating itself.
