New Thermal Insulation Materials from Waste of Mechanical Processing of Wood A.A.
Materials and Methods Studies The object of the study is the processes of creating new thermal insulation materials obtained from the waste of mechanical processing of soft hardwood wood.
In the production of wood products, up to 60% of the waste from the total volume of processed raw materials is generated.
The remaining waste (humps and slats after processing into small wood particles, as well as sawdust, shavings and crushed wood) is widely used to produce composite materials and therefore they are considered as additional raw materials.
Products based on gypsum binders are more environmentally friendly than many materials, cheaper and have a large raw material base.

WATER-SOLUBLE MATERIALS EXTRACTED FROM FRUIT WALLS IN DIFFERENT CONDITIONS WAS STUDIED.
HOMOGENOUS STRUCTURE OF ITS PARTICLES AS PER SEM DATA, ALSO ALLOWS FOR CONSIDERATION OF SH ASH AS FILLING AGENT FOR VARIOUS MATERIALS.
Water-soluble materials in SH 1-6 samples were found by extraction done when heated till 90оС within 1 hour at 1:10 solid to liquid ratio.
Output of soluble materials is 3-10% of mass fraction upon water extraction, 8-15% upon hydrochloric acid extraction, 15-27% - alkali and 30-40% upon subsequent extraction with water, acid and alkali.

Fabrication of Zirconia/ 304 Stainless Steel Functionally Graded Materials using Centrifugal Slurry Methods and Spark Plasma Sintering Kaito Fukui1,a and Hideaki Tsukamoto1,b,* 1Department of Mechanical Engineering, Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Hosei University, 3-7-2 Kajino-cho, Koganei-shi, Tokyo 184-8584, Japan.
Functionally graded materials (FGMs) are multi-phase composites to be engineered with gradual spatial variations of constituents.
Introduction Functionally graded materials (FGMs) are practically ideal concepts to protect the materials and structures working under super high temperatures and temperature gradients, which can be engineered with gradual spatial variations of constituents, resulting in smooth variation of thermal, mechanical and electrical properties.
