Collagen-based materials and chitosan-based materials were prepared as sponge containing-hydroxyapatite (HAP) and their properties were studied. 3D type sponges made of collagen and/or chitosan can be potentially used as bone tissue engineering scaffolds.
According to international standards, it should be considered as very satisfying: 55 papers (without including the 25 papers of the present volume) that directly or indirectly result from the network have been published or are in press in international scientific journals.
