The prepared anhydrous calcium (II) sulphate crystal materials have potential application in light weight building materials and refractory coating.
Introduction During the last decade, the preparation of calcium (II) sulphate crystal whiskers have attracted considerable attention due to their potential application as light weight building materials, thermal insulation material, and refractory coating [1].
As part of our studies on the preparation and properties of calcium (II) sulphate crystal whisker materials, we herein report a new prepared method of calcium (II) sulphate crystal whiskers.
The application of anhydrous calcium (II) sulphate crystal materials in light weight building materials and refractory coating are in progress.
