Abstract: The vector form intrinsic finite element (V-5) method and the gap element method are combined to solve the static wheel/rail contact in two-dimensions in this paper to obtain the wheel/rail normal contact pressure, which would be compared with the normal contact pressure of ABAQUS and Hertz theory.
Hertz theory developed in 1882[1] is still widely used in many engineering fields.
Matrix B relates the element strains and nodal displacements; E denotes the matrix with material modulus. u* is the nodal deformation vector. fa* is the internal nodal force at time ta. f* is the incremental internal force in ta-t. ft* is the internal nodal force at time t.
Elastic material model is used with a density of 7800 kg/m3, the elastic modulus of 210GPa, and the Poisson's ratio of 0.3.

Most of the heterogeneous catalysts developed for the production of biodiesel are either alkaline oxide or alkaline earth metal oxide supported over a large surface area.
2.2 Materials for Biodiesel Production
A critical aspect of biodiesel production is the careful selection of raw materials, as this choice significantly influences factors such as purity, cost, chemical composition, and conversion efficiency.
The basic raw materials for biodiesel production are vegetable oils, animal fats, and short-chain alcohols [11] & [12].
The materials used in this study include alcohol (CH3CH2OH), waste cooking oil, Calcium oxide (CaO), rice husk, coconut husk, chicken manure, hydrochloric acid, and distilled water.
Figure 3, shows the process summary of biodiesel production from materials preparation to biodiesel characterization.

In this paper, the influences of geology and engineering factors on wellbore stability have been analyzed.
This progress will cause a serial of complex physicochemical reactions between drilling mud and the cementing material in the nature fracture system.
We assume the formation is a kind of continuum material.
When drilling nature fractured formation or high structural stress formation, engineers should take special cares for wellbore stability problems

Abstract.
In recent times, new materials have been developed, such as laminated veneer lumber and cross-laminated timber (CLT) panels.
For CLT panels, the shear flexibility of the transverse layers is a key factor addressed in Timoshenko beam theory, which incorporates shear deformations.
Determine the equivalent stiffnesses in two directions of a conditionally continuous beam from the known expression for the resistance of materials (under a uniform external load q):
