The Establishment of the Tricycle Rigid-flexible Coupling System Dynamics Model To establish the tricycle rigid-flexible coupling system dynamics model efficiently, the author first constituted its multi-rigid-body dynamics model, then replaced corresponding parts rigid model with flexibilities of frame and leaf spring which are key role to the tricycle system performance.
The leaf spring is a elastic component of the suspension of automobile, engineering and agriculture transportation vehicle, which is used to transfer lengthways and transverse force.
The essence of BEAM is to divide every leaf spring into several small pieces that are seen as rigid body, but every two pieces are connected with mass-less BEAM flexible beam whose stiffness and damping matrix are calculated automatically by Adams according to the cross section and material parameters of the leaf spring.
