In order to precipitation recovery boron from the salt lake brine containing high concentrations of magnesium, calcium, and borate ions, Yang et al. [3] reported the acidification precipitation condition was in pH=3 with a pH range varied from 1 to 1.5.
When the same type of bittern liquid was used, Yang et al. [4] reported the optimal process parameters such as the mode of adding acid, speed and quantity of adding concentrate sulfate acid, reactive temperature and time, cooling temperature and time after a series of effect factors were investigated, and the qualified boric acid can be obtained with 93.5% of boron recycling recovery when the recovered raw boric acid was fined by re-crystallization.
