The objectives of rock
mass evaluation are to confirm the physical properties of rock mass, to find abnormal rock mass, and
finally to improve ground investigation data [1].
Analyzing data obtained from 212 tunnels at Scandinavia peninsular, Barton [2] suggested Q-system using the RQD, joint set number, joint roughness, joint alteration, ground water pressure, and stress reduction factor.
Finally, using Eq. 4 through Eq. 7, the resistivity of rock mass (ρRM) can be calculated as follows: [ ][ ]βσαασ π ρ IR xyxzJ RM ++ = 2 . (8) Correlation between Q-system and Electrical Resistivity The Q-system is defined as follows [2]: SRF Jw Ja Jr Jn RQD Q ⋅⋅= . (9) where Jn is the joint set number, Jn is the joint roughness number, Ja is the joint alteration number, Jw is the joint water reduction factor and SRF is the stress reduction factor.
The joint water reduction factor (Jw) is consider as Jw=1, indicating dry excavation or minor inflow and the SRF is consider as SRF =1 indicating a medium stress condition.

The reduction of dielectric level may cause reduction in condensation of contaminants and consequent increase in emission of aerosols. Therefore sensor for checking the dielectric level with an interlock system has to be included in the system.
Experimental investigation on the effect of different base metals on emissions is required since such data is not available.
Experimental investigation on the effect of different electrodes on the emission also required since there is no data available in the literature.
· Fire hazard · The reduction of dielectric level may cause reduction in condensation of contaminants and consequent increase in emission. · Sensor for checking the dielectric level with an interlock system. 10.

Therefore, the comprehensive reduction of compressor noise, based on the basic noise control theory, is supposed to be conducted on the three kinds of noise from three aspects: the source, transmission and radiation.
The general equation of noise reduction is given by: (Eq.1) Where is the actual sound insulation of the compressor, is the average sound insulation of the acoustic enclosure, and is the sound insulation coefficient of the acoustic enclosure.
Table 1 Different absorption coefficient of melamine’s different thickness Thickness(mm) Octave band center frequency/Hz NRC 125 250 500 1000 2000 4000 30 0.12 0.31 0.66 0.86 0.87 0.92 0.70 40 0.12 0.44 0.87 0.96 0.97 0.97 0.80 50 0.28 0.63 1.06 1.08 1.05 1.01 0.90 Where NRC is noise reduction coefficient.
Based on the analysis of the peak data of the compressor’s sound power spectrum, the acoustic structure design of the acoustic enclosure should be focused on the compressor’s medium and low frequency characteristics.
The measured results In order to guarantee the feasibility of the experimental data the experiment is conducted in a semi-anechoic indoors which can ignore background noise under the normal operation of the compressor.

To the author’s knowledge there is few data in the open literature for the comparison of the friction and wear properties of PTFE coatings under vacuum conditions before and after gamma irradiation.
The experimental data are then compared to those of non-irradiated samples.
It is probably due to the reduction in molecular weight induced by gamma radiation leading to the enhancement of molecular mobility or migration on the interface, which leads to the damage of self-lubricating films more difficult.
The reduction in friction coefficient of irradiated PTFE coatings compared to the non-irradiated samples may be subject to scission reactions caused by unstable free radicals [14], which leads to the rupture of the backbones of main chains, the reduction in molecular weight of PTFE, and the improvement in chain mobility and migration at the surface.
The result in Fig. 6 indicates that the gamma irradiation (with a dose of 100KGy) induces a reduction in wear of PTFE coatings.

Using the finite element method (FEM), we simulated the stress and strain behaviors in the processed shaft in the vicinity of the diameter-enlargement section during processing, and calculated an elasto-plastic stress concentration factor, an elasto-plastic strain concentration factor, and a fatigue strength reduction factor.
Unprocessed specimen (literature data [6]) Processed specimen (predicted value) Experimental results Fig. 11 Fatigue curve.
Summary The present study has clarified the mechanism of fatigue crack generation during the diameter-enlargement method processing, and evaluated the conditions of fatigue damage of a processed shaft using the fatigue strength reduction factor.

The optimization has two goals: weight reduction and bearing load
capacity.
According to maintenance data, one third of all overhauls of hydraulic servoactuators were caused by leakages through the mentioned sealing.
The second important criterion was the weight reduction.

An effective way to solve this problem is the effective evaluation and the cost reduction by the evaluation.
The data from a smart building micro grid is used to validate the method.
Fig.2 DG output and load curves in the typical day In order to analyze the effect of energy storage system cost reduction and the micro grid evaluation index, the micro grid operation cost calculation is carried out in different storage penalty factor and energy storage scheduling . 1) Energy storage system in sheduling mode without panaty factors When the micro grid work in in energy storage sheduling mode, the TOU tarriff is considered, and the micro grid buy power in valley period, while sell in peak period for lower cost.
So the cost reduction is of great importance for the micro grid developmemt.

Results show that the reduction in early strength is greater with the higher cement replacement level.
Result and Discussion GGBS Binary Concrete According to obtained data in Figure 1, it was observed that GGBS decreased the early strength of concrete with increasing GGBS content.
It is understood that the reduction in heat evolved is influenced bythe modification of cement mineral composition i.e.
It appears that the reduction in CEM I content reduces the hydration of C3S, which is responsible for the production of CSH at the early stages of hydration.
The results also show a greater reduction in early strength development with increasing binder levels.
