In order to make sure the materials that can be used at certain temperature, the developing directions of thermoelectric material were researched.
There are some kinds of thermoelectric materials mainly in use now.
There are mainly two developing directions of novel thermoelectric materials.
Also some companies are now using new compound materials to produce p-n junctions.
Parameters of the materials chosen from the sample 7.9 of ANSYS10.0 are shown in Table 1.

In this paper, the Monte Carlo method is used to simulate the neutron shielding performance of iron/borated-polyethylene composite materials.
The neutron transmission coefficient of the composite shield is microscopically dominated by the interaction cross section between neutrons and radionuclide such as 1H, 12C and 56Fe in shielding materials.
