Improvement in the Sensitivity of the Response of Diamond Thin Films to X-ray Xiaoming Liao, Junguo Ran* , Li Gou, Jin Zhang, Baohui Su and Jiangli Lin Department of inorganic materials, Sichuan University, Chengdu 610065, China Keywords: Diamond thin films, Radiation dosimeter, Response to X-ray, Sensitivity Abstract.
Advances in the preparation of diamond by CVD technology have resulted in improvement in the quality and availability of material suitable for radiation dosimetry.
Experimental Materials and Procedures Diamond thin films were prepared on (100) p-type Si substrates, which were polished with diamond powders to induce nucleation, by a bell jar-type MWPCVD deposition technique.
