Experimental Work The material used for oxidation test was AA6061 aluminum welded joint and was fabricated by using gas metal arc welding (GMAW) technique with 22-25V and 185-200A, using filler metal Al-Si-Mg (ER4043).

In this study, therefore, the triaxial tests of a new composite reinforced material which consisted of two components, namely weathered red-sandstone and hexagonal wire mesh, were simulated by 3D discrete element analysis programme.
The gabion-mesh reinforcement used in the composite reinforced material was composed of some hexagonal meshes which were fabricated from a double twisted steel mesh, which is galvanized and subsequently PVC coated.
