Yuan et al. considered the
bridge structure as a simply supported Euler-Bernoulli beam and developed dynamic load
identification methods using modal superposition principle and least-squares method [5].
Chan et al and Yu and Chan performed a series of systematically researches and experiments on moving loads identification methods [6,7,8], which including Interpretive Method I [4], Interpretive Method II [9], Time Domain Method [10] and Frequency Time Domain Method [11], proposed a Moving Force Identification System (MFIS) theory for moving loads on the bridges, and analyzed the merits, weakness and applicability of these four methods.

Recent
investigations by Rahim et al. [6] and Li et al. [7] on drilling of titanium alloys at higher speeds
have indicated that peck drilling method and WC-Co spiral drill point are accompanied by a higher
tool life and low cutting force.

Arul et al [7] found that tool wear reduces as feed rate increases from 0.04 to 0.2 mm/rev when fibre composite laminates were drilled using High Speed Steel (HSS) drills.
According to Jia et al. [15], cutting speeds from 20 to 90 m/min and feed rate below 0.5 mm/rev are normally chosen for drilling of the CFC materials.

In a comprehensive review on the sulphate attack, Hekal et al [6] pointed out that, in most cases, the loss of adhesion and strength, not expansion and cracking is the primary manifestation of sulfate attack.
