Choi et al. [8] have shown that doping with Fe3+ , Mo5+ , Ru3+ , Os3+ , Re5+ , V4+ , and Rh3+ at 0.1–0.5 at. % significantly increased the photoreactivity for both oxidation and reduction, while Co3+ and Al+ doping decreased the photoreactivity.
Kim et al. [9] have reported that platinum ion doped TiO2 can be used to oxidize and reduce chlorinated organic compounds.
Choi et al. [8]reported that the doping of TiO2 with Al3+ reduced the photocatalysis.
Choi et al. [8] also reported Co-doped TiO2 had lower photocatalytic activities.
Li at el. [16]have reported that doping of TiO2 with La3+ can greatly enhance the degradation of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and o-xylene (BTEX) in a gaseous phase.
