Choi et al. [8] have shown that doping with Fe3+ , Mo5+ , Ru3+ , Os3+ , Re5+ , V4+ , and Rh3+ at 0.1–0.5 at. % significantly increased the photoreactivity for both oxidation and reduction, while Co3+ and Al+ doping decreased the photoreactivity.
Kim et al. [9] have reported that platinum ion doped TiO2 can be used to oxidize and reduce chlorinated organic compounds.
Choi et al. [8]reported that the doping of TiO2 with Al3+ reduced the photocatalysis.

have comprehensively reviewed the process of sulphidation.
The results from these studies have also allowed the development of a model for the degradation due to HT sulphidation as given by Du and Datta el al [16,17].
Al migrated outwards through the coating and formed an Al2O3 layer beneath the TiO2 layer.
As a result a bright Al-rich zone can be observed, which was identified as TiAl3 by XRD.
In the front of the TiS nodule an Al-enriched band adjacent to the substrate is observed.
