The adaptive meshless model takes into account the temperature variation, micro plastic flow, and the coupled thermo-elasto-plastic behavior of the materials, considering the strain-hardening property of the materials and temperature-dependent yield strength.
Depending on load, sliding speed, friction coefficient and contact geometry, one may obtain sufficiently high asperity flash temperatures to cause thermal softening of materials [2] in contact.
The material properties including the modulus of elasticity E, the yield strength σY , the coefficient of thermal expansion θ, the thermal conductivity k and the Possion's ratio v are sensitive to temperature changes as well, especially the yield strength σY is sharply decreases with temperature rise for many engineering materials [3].

In theory, for each pulse, because of producing a discharge at the tool electrode positive, and also produces another discharge at the same time in the tool electrode negative, material removal capacity of every pulse of multiple sparks EDM should be consistent with both materials’ removal rates of the single positive tool electrode and single negative tool electrode of ordinary EDM.
