Experimental method Materials The concrete mixtures were made in the Construction Materials Laboratory using the following materials: Cement: normal Portland cement of Saima in Ningxia was used, the chemical analysis, mineral composite and physical properties of which are given in Table 1andTable 2.
Three level of water cementitious materials ratio are 0.32, 0.37, 0.42; six factors are water cementitious materials ratio, gangue, fly ash, slag, silica fume and admixtures.

Reinforced concrete is one of the traditional materials for the chimney with the advantages such as high durability, good plasticity, high temperature-resistance, and easily obtained from local resources.
In addition to the above three basic structures, composite structure can be applied in the solar chimney by taking full advantage of different materials.
