The ultrasonic time-of-flight diffraction (TOFD) method The basic principle of the TOFD technique can be depicted in Fig.1 Suppose a buried crack in a specimen of isotropic and homogeneous material is located between a transmitter and a receiver [3].
The material of transducer wedge is Lucite and its angle is 45°, which means the refraction angle in the mild steel is 45°.

Such models allowed for the development of many materials that are used in electromagnetism for antennas and dielectrics.
In a similar manner, the mathematical formulation of diffusion by Fick facilitated the development of membranes and diffusion-barrier high performance materials.
Synthetic polymers (plastics) are one such material.
To continue, another mathematical technique used in imaging is the inverse conductivity problem, also known as EIT (Electrical Impedence Tomography), having applications in medical imaging, underground prospection and non-destructive testing of materials.

This issue has been frequently addressed in many journals and conferences sections.
The solution of both problems of fluid flow and metal plastic flow provide fields of velocities, pressure and temperature, and provides important data about materials flow pattern [7,11].
The contours of axial velocity in Fig. 4a display the dead zone of material flow, i.e, region where the axial velocity is very small, showing that the material has almost stopped, while the remaining material is flowing.

As shaft surface soil depth increases, the materials of shaft lining develops from plain concrete to super reinforced concrete, from single steel plate to double steel plate.
However, the materials cannot bear the pressure.
Design of shaft lining structure model testing In the model testing, we use the original shaft lining materials, which are super strength steel fiber concrete and steel plate applied in actual constructions, which gives complete stress-strain curve of strength similarity and loading.
Since the shaft lining model and prototype keep geometrical similarity before and after the loading deformation and adopt the same materials, and then the above similarity conditions may be rewritten as follows: , (1) Among, is strength similarity Constant.

As a promising processing technique of hard and brittle materials, ultrasonic assisted grinding (UAG) can not only enhance the machining efficiency but also improve the surface quality [4].
Once a wheel depth of cut ap is given to the workpiece and a feed motion is provided to the worktable at a rate of Vw with a stroke of S, the grinding wheel rotating at a speed of Vs will interfere with the workpiece to remove the work-materials.
However, it should be noted that in the first two regions the ratio in EUAG is much less than that in CG, indicating that it is easier to remove the work-materials in EUAG than that in CG.
